Here’s something I recommend you get.
I’ve had this Band of Brothers blu-ray box set for a few weeks now, and I’m half-way through. If you’ve seen the series before, you know how good it is, but the added extras in the blu-ray version are quite amazing.
You can watch each episode in an interactive timeline mode which includes maps and other information.
Or you can watch it in “In the words of Easy Company” mode, where the original vets pop-up in picture-in-picture windows, and they explain quite a lot about what you are watching.
The picture-in-picture mode is incredible. It continually reminds you that what you are watching really happened.
